Our story
This project was born from a meeting between two perspectives, two approaches, two sensibilities.
Over the course of more than a month of travel, the two photographers explored four distinct regions of the Amazon together, with a shared intention: to bear witness to a human presence capable of living in balance with its environment. Their goal was not simply to demonstrate these populations' dependence on the forest, but to reveal the forms of collective intelligence, know-how, and resilience that allow these communities to preserve a territory while ensuring their subsistence.

ANTOINE OLIVIER

Antoine was born in France in 1973. After studying design in Montreal, he started working in 1999 with several companies and agencies in France and abroad. He lived for eleven years in Rio de Janeiro, where he was the creative director for an events agency.
Since 2003, he has been a freelance designer, carrying out global design and scenography projects, as well as photographic reports.
Between Marseille and Rio de Janeiro, Antoine Olivier weaves a constant dialogue, driven by the major event projects to which he contributes, while pursuing his photographic exploration of the daily lives around him.
